CCM Theological Seminary offers two study options for completing your Seminary education: Extension Studies and Distance Studies.
EXTENSION STUDIES
Extension Studies combine home and campus studies in the teaching/learning process. Extension students study largely from home, but attend courses at the Seminary three terms a year for five days each term. Coursework is completed before the student arrives at the Campus. Campus studies include course lectures, classroom discussions, oral reports, research opportunities, special worship, fellowship and prayer times, important contact time with professors & students and final examinations. Extension Studies is ideal for those who wish to continue in ministry or employment throughout their studies.
DISTANCE STUDIES
Distance Studies (correspondence) enable students to study the Bible from the comfort and convenience of their own home while continuing with other important commitments. Distance students are only required to attend one 5-day Course at the Seminary Campus each year. All other Courses are emailed to the students and completed from home. Completed assignments are submitted to the Seminary electronically, graded by Professors, and course grades are sent to the students. Students come to the Seminary Campus at the end of each year to take final examinations. Distance Studies is ideal for those who cannot attend classes at the Seminary Campus or who wish to study at their own pace as they engage in another family, work, and ministry commitments.
